Kosmos 535 ET is a digital stationary diagnostic X-ray device with a remotely controlled table-stand and a dynamic flat-panel X-ray detector. The distinctive feature of the Kosmos 535 ET devices is their compactness with the possibility of conducting X-ray and X-ray examinations, as well as tomosynthesis.
Kosmos 535 ET device can take a position up to vertical (+90°/-90°) and has a variable tabletop height. The X-ray emitter can change the angle of inclination in the range from -40° to +40° relative to the tabletop perpendicular. The table is equipped with two screening rasters with a focal length of 120 cm and 180 cm. As the source/receiver distance changes, the rasters are changed automatically.
Kosmos 535 ET devices allow standard X-ray examinations to be performed in various patient positions – lying or sitting on the imaging table, or standing, with the device in a vertical position. The device comes with a footrest that can be used to examine a patient in a sitting position, and the small distance from the floor to the footrest with the table in a vertical position allows for examinations of the lower extremities under load.
The operator’s workstation has two monitors – a high-brightness 18″ black-and-white monitor is located in the procedure room on a trolley, and a color 19″ monitor is installed near the control panel. The devices are fully compatible with the DICOM 3 medical image transmission standard and are easily integrated into the existing hospital LAN. In the absence of a hospital LAN, it is recommended to equip this device with a specialized software/hardware “Medical Diagnostic Station” complex.
